He was predeceased by: his parents, James William "Buck" Oswalt and Mary Ellen Boatwright Oswalt; and his siblings, Martha "Mopsey" Oswalt and Robert Allan Oswalt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Ann Parnell Oswalt; his daughters, Renee Calvert (Mark) of Summerville, Regina Oswalt of Goose Creek, Kim Long of Goose Creek and Cheryl Jolly (James) of Goose Creek; his sister Sophia Williamson (Ryan) of Columbia; his grandchildren, William, Kirstie, Kayla, Whitney, Amanda, Cody, Tiffany, Austin, Courtney and Blair; and his nephew Jerry Anderson. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
