She is survived by : her husband Michael J. Kloss; her daughter Samantha Kloss (Jeremy Osment); her grandson Olin Michael Osment; her stepchildren, Jennifer Barton, Elizabeth Cur, Michael Jason Kloss and Shannon Palmer; her siblings, James Lyon III (Lori) and Tara McClellan (Andy); and her mother Sandra Lyon.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Nativity (1061 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society and Roper Hospice Care Team.
