He is survived by: his wife Oneathea "Neat" Rogers; his children, Terrance Pelzer (Tiffany) of Kingsland, GA, Matthew Rogers of St. Mary, GA and Chantel Sass of Ladson, SC; his siblings, Ed Rogers, Jr. (Luedella) of Tuskegee, AL, Robert Rogers of Chicago, IL, Samuel Rogers (Tracy) of Jacksonville, NC, Ada Covington of Phoenix City, AL, Katie Tigner of Country Hill, Mattie Rogers of Chicago, IL and Bernice Jordan of Columbus, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Carter, Eleanor Grant (Rufus), Cleo Stewart, Mary "Kitty" Sass, Leethaniel Vaughn (Lillie), Rufus Sass (Stephanie) and Anduery Sass. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grand children.
A wake was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rivers Funeral Home Chapel (421 Red Bank Rd, Goose Creek, SC 29445). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness (829 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445).
