He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Edward Marek and Joan Finklea Marek. He is survived by: his wife Melonea Locklair Marek; his sons, Allen Marek (Stephanie) and Nick Marek (Alexis); his grandsons, Seth and Abel; his siblings, Wayne Marek (Patty), Randy Marek (Patricia), David Marek (Pamela) and Brenda Sahlman; David (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
