He was predeceased by : his grandson Eric Yates. He is survived by : his wife Donna Yates; his children, Keith Yates (Cheri), Ricky Yates, Steve Yates (Dixie) and Kim Travis (Tryfon); and his grandchildren, Katie Wright, Kristie Campbell, Ahrean Bremer, Jonathan Yates, Shannon Yates, Heather Ridgeway, Joshua Yates, Chase Yates, Joseph Travis, Lauren Owenby, Jamie Driggers, Joye Morrison and Allan Lanier. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
