She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Vargas; and her mother Madelyn Aksten. She is survived by: her stepfather Walter Skelly; her siblings, Walter Skelly and Theresa; and her children, Linda Rotger, Lisa Martin, Laura Martin and John Martin (Maureen Martin). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
