He is survived by: his wife Sonya Vinson Mitchell; his mother Ethel Shipp; his children, Cameron Murray (Tiffany), Keosha Garrett and Nieesha Mitchell; his grandchildren, Sa'Naiah Z. McClair, Sai'Asiah McClair, Tionne Gillard, Faith Alston, Carmen Murray and Xavier Murray; his brother Donald D. Mitchell; his aunts, Ann Nicholson, Janie Foxworth (Berno), Katie Thomas (Walter), Sandra Boolware (Andre), Victoria Malcom, Emily Mitchell and Beulah Nesbitt; his parents-in-law, Fred Vinson, Sr. and Marilyn Victoria Vinson; his sister Sharina Harrell; and his brother-in-law Fred Vinson, Jr. (Mia). He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
