She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Day; her children, Joshua Day (Keturah) of North Charleston, Ashlynn Day of Spartanburg, SC and Nina Day of Portland, Oregon; and her siblings, Samuel Knights of Goose Creek, SC., Howard Knight of Goose Creek, SC, Johnny Knights of Atlanta, GA, Silas Knights of Goose Creek, SC and Sheila Knights of Goose Creek. She was also cherished by 4 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Church of God in Christ (302 Jeffs Cir, Goose Creek, SC 29445).
