We announce the death of Wayne Frederick Kasten of Goose Creek, South Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 89. Wayne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kasten and Florence Theresa Seegar Kasten; his daughter Melody Jean Wilson; and his siblings, Donald Kasten, Faye Whitney and Beverly Lull (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra McCoy of Summerville, SC, Randy Kasten (Shari) of Charleston, SC, Alan Kasten of Goose Creek, SC and Dana Kasten (Cindy) of Summerville, SC; his sibling Corbi Kasten (Dale); and his friends, Landon and Brian Goetz. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and many loved great-grandchildren.
