He is survived by: his mother Betty Atkins Barnwell; his sisters, Betsy Ellington (Kim) of Vale and Beth French of Ralston; his siblings' children, Betsy French and Jackson Ellington; his great-niece Indigo; and his great-nephew Eagle Song.
