He was predeceased by : his parents, Barkwell Lockhart and Ruby Lee Bussell Lockhart; and his brother Dr. Wayne Lockhart. He is survived by : his son-in-law Leslie Jo Lockhart Fennell (Scott) of Charleston, SC; his brothers, Carl Lockhart (Frances) of Graniteville, Dr. Rick Lockhart of Milledgeville, GA. and Ron Lockhart (Gayle) of Leesville, SC; and his grandchildren, Madeleine Lockhart Fennell Warren (Jim) of Charleston and Wilson Scott Fennell of Charleston.
