We bid farewell to Clarence Nathaniel Rushton of Graniteville, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2025 at the age of 89. Clarence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rushton and Lula Mae Rushton; and his sons, Dennis Rushton, Dwayne Rushton and Damon Rushton.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley S. Rushton; his siblings, James Rushton (Doris) of Rushton's Barbeque Buffet, Horace "Bubba" Rushton, Ola Mae Peavler (Gene) and Deanne Rushton Orr; and his grandchildren, April P. Abbott, Amber Tyler, Kristin Walker, Damon Rushton (DC), Jason Rushton, Alicia Toole, Christie Lewis, Paisley Cunningham, Grayson Cunningham and Teagan. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home (315 Main St, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
