He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford R. Johnson and Hazel Nappier Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Kirkland Johnson; his sons, Shane Johnson and Tracy McGee; his siblings, Judy Hammett (Donnie) and Ray Johnson (Elly); and his grandchildren, Caleigh Maroney (Dylan) and Evan Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
