He was predeceased by : his father Edgar William "Billy" Rearden; and his sister Pamela Marie Fredrick. He is survived by : his wife Tonya Cooper Rearden; his children, Scotty Craig Rearden, Patrick Edgar Rearden, Christopher Kyle Rearden, William David Beasley, David Carlin and Crystal Marie Harkins; his mother Dolly Marie Craig Rearden; his sister Janet Scoggins; and his cousin Joey Keenan. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
