He was predeceased by: his wife Rita H. Bell; his parents, Jonathan F. Bell and Ruby Carpenter Bell; and his siblings, Jack, Jesse, Sam, Walter "Skeet", Robert, Clyde, Frank, Willie, Grady, Cliff Bell, Bessie Pearl Williams, Frances "Hanky" Knight and Annie Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughter Georgeane Rowell (Kelvin); his grandchildren, Jessica Chanclor (Michael), Joshua Rowell and Kollin Rowell (Diaisa); his nieces and nephews, Joe Knight, Steve Bell, Patsy Sawyer, Linda Johnson and Sharon Handy; and his friend Andrew Randolph.
