She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Paul Hill and Addie Elizabeth Chitty Blackwelder; her husbands, John D. Wade, Sr. and James H. Cato, Jr.; and her siblings, Lois B. Wade (Delpin Wade), J. C. Blackwelder, Claude Blackwelder, Sr. (Josie Blackwelder) and Mack Blackwelder.
She is survived by: her children, John D. Wade, Jr. (Robin Wade), Roy L. Wade and Barbara Ann Carmony (Jeff Stone); and her siblings, Katherine B. Martin (late Jerry Martin) and Earl Blackwelder (Linda Blackwelder). She is also survived by five nieces, five nephews, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
