With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Edward Schaeffer Jr. (Graniteville, South Carolina), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Martha Messex Schaeffer; his parents, Leonard Schaeffer, Sr. and Roberta Davidson Schaeffer; his son James; and his brother Richard.

He is survived by : his family Leonard; his son Leonard "Lenny" Schaeffer III; his daughter-in-law Susan Hasty Schaeffer; and his granddaughters, Anna, Erin, Abby (Josh) and Ellen.
