We announce the death of Lydia Caroline Renew Padgett of Graniteville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edward "Pete" Renew, Sr. and Shirley Norene Ergle Renew; and her son Christopher Tommy Padgett. She is survived by: her husband Tommy O. Padgett; her sons, Steve Taylor (Krystal) and Don E. Taylor; her siblings, Carl E. "Eddie" Renew, Jr. (Elaine), Sheryl Argo (John A.) and Annette Renew; her grandchildren, Lauren Taylor, Kristen Taylor Herman (Johnny), Dalton Taylor (Rebekah) and Savannah Padgett; her daughter-in-law Dana Ninnemann (Andy); her granddaughter Emily Ninnemann; her great grandchild Keira Herman; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Renew (Tina), Tony Argo (Mari), Angela Renew (Brian) and Kristle Golden (Stephen).
