We bid farewell to Phyllis Proctor Hadden Halter (Graniteville, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2026 at the age of 76. Phyllis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Proctor and Mayo Barden Proctor; and her brothers, Phillip Proctor, Jackie Proctor, Tommy Proctor and Jerry Proctor.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Beth" Verant (Joseph) of Alpharetta, Georgia and Oliver J. Hadden, III (Jennifer) of Aiken; her sister Sylvia Raborn (Jerry) of Aiken; her grandchildren, Liam Joseph Verant and Jenna Elizabeth Verant; and her great-niece Ashlyn Cooper. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church.
