He was predeceased by: his father Heyward Shealy; his stepfather Glenn Ergle; and his grandson Ian Shealy. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Beard Shealy; his sons, Jason Shealy (Jennifer), Brent Shealy (Robin) and Jeff Moseley (Amy); his mother Peggy Slade Shealy Ergle; and his siblings, Connie Morris (Allen), Brenda Fox (Mark) and Mike Shealy (Mitzi). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
