He was predeceased by: his parents, Folger Herman and Essie Inez Abercrombie Massingill. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hamby Massingill of Aiken; his children, Mandy Weng (Wayne) of North Augusta and Matthew Stan Massingill (Wendy) of Clearwater, Florida; his brother Douglas Oscar Massingill of Central; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Kathleen Whatley (Todd), Nathan Lee Weng (Rylie), Jacob Matthew Massingill, Jonah Levi Massingill and Emily Grace Massingill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the New Covenant Presbyterian Church (526 Hitchcock Pkwy, Aiken, SC 29801). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
