He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Harris Polk (Keith) and Sherry L. Harris; his grandchildren, Joshua S. Colvin (Lindsay) and Jennifer Polk Clem (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Palmer and Roman; his siblings, Robert Harris and Delores Newsome; and his siblings-in-law, Glenda K. Napier, Shirley Harris and Floyd Harris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
