He was predeceased by: his parents, Manley Elford and Kate Hurley Hawkins; and his sister Cassie Hawkins Poole. He is survived by: his wife Gloria McKinney Hawkins; his sons, Keith Hawkins (Michelle), Ronald Hawkins, Tim Hawkins (Cindy) and Chris Hawkins (Susan); his grandchildren, Zachary Hawkins, Nicholas Hawkins (Grace), Nathan Hawkins, Rachel Hawkins Drummond (Lamar), Benjamin Hawkins, Cameron Hawkins (Emily) and Carson Hawkins; his great grandchildren, Rowan Hawkins, Raegan Hawkins, Olivia Hawkins, Addie Hawkins, Lillian Drummond, Zacara Drummond and Norah Hawkins; and his sister Maxie Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warrior Creek Baptist Church, 139 Cum Laude Way, Gray Court, SC 29645.
