It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Norene Harrington of Gray Court, South Carolina, who passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Edgell and Mary Edgell; her siblings, John Edgell and Joyce Bosler; her siblings-in-law, Reba and Sammy Hayes; her nephew Douglas Hays; and her niece Chrisgenia Hays.

She is survived by: her son Robert Alexander IV (Stephanie Harrington); her husband Robert Harrington of Rossville, Georgia.; her children, Laura (Marvin Akers), Mark (Amy Harrington), Brian (Lynn Harrington) and Susan (Alan Oswald); her sister Judy; her brother-in-law Roger Higginbotham; and her siblings, James Edgell and Joan Boron. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
