She was predeceased by: her former husband Edwin Alston Babb; her parents, Beatrice Rose Martin Stewart and William James Stewart; and her brothers, Beverly Stewart and Wayne Stewart.
She is survived by: her husband Ed's Handy Mart; her children, Edwin Babb Jr. (Betty), Diane Hodges (Barry), Cynthia Willis and Bernice Murdock (Danny); her brother William Stewart; and her pet Heshe. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that memorials be made to the church that she loved and served, Rabun Creek Baptist Church, 17045 Highway 101 South, Gray Court, SC 29645.
