He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Berry Powers and Flora Davis Powers; his siblings, Patrica Powers Blackwell and Douglas Powers; his daughter Linda Powers Bryson; his son-in-law Earl Bryson; his son Michael Raymond Powers; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Bryson and Megan Clardy.
He is survived by: his brother Lee Powers of Moore; and his children, Candy Hanna (Niles) of Enoree, Sharon Havird (Eddie) of Batesburg and Mitchell Powers (Dale) of Enoree. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.
