Carolyn Tuttle Barton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Tuttle Barton (Great Falls, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Tuttle and Laura Sizemore Tuttle; her husband Horace Chapman "Buddy" Barton; and her siblings, Carl, Billy Tuttle, Geraldine McDowell, Joyce Smith, Doris Bailey, Betty Roddey, Ann Tuttle and Pat Yoder.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck Barton (Tammy) of Lancaster, SC, Keith Barton (Julie) of Lancaster, SC and Melissa Jacobs (Davey) of Great Falls, SC; her grandsons, Reid Jacobs of Moore, SC, Payton Barton of Lancaster, SC and Dylan Jacobs of Irmo, SC; and her sister Dorothy Jordan (John Dye) of Greer, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
