It is with sadness that the passing of George Belton Jr. (Great Falls, South Carolina) is shared. George, born on May 12, 1944, passed away on August 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Hill Belton and George Belton, Sr.; his daughter Kimberly Belton; and his siblings, Mamie Davis, Dorothy Belton and Leroy Belton.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Belton; his children, Thomas Watson of Chester, S. C. and Shameka Belton Adams (Dandrien Adams); his siblings, Virginia Lockhart (Grady Lockhart) of Great Falls and Larry Belton (Dorothy Belton) of Washington, D. C.; his aunt Ruth Hill of Great Falls; and his brothers-in-law, Garfield Davis of Great Falls, MacKenny Gladden of Great Falls and Doug Dean of Blackstock. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; many devoted friends and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
