He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Black and Mamie Black; his wife Marilyn Toole Black; his son Richard Black; and his siblings, Voncile Drawdy and Thomas Black.
He is survived by: his daughters, Maxine Tate (Mike) of Great Falls, Angie Black of Great Falls and Kathy Funderburk (Michael) of Great Falls; his grandchildren, Shelley Price (Ned), William "Billy" Tate (Julie), Beverly Tate, Shaun Ingram (Candace), Tommy Seagle and Hunter Funderburk; and his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kassidy, Khloe, Karlee, Bryson Price, Jordan Ramsey of Kayden Hudson, SJ, Caelynn and Smith Ingram.
Mr. Black loved his country and the American flag and his family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to replace the American Flags that line the streets of Great Falls.
