She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester Higgins and Maude Higgins. She is survived by : her husband Jerry Arnette of Green Sea, SC; her daughters, Lori Clark of Abbottstown, PA and Debbie Bosley (Larry) of Hampstead, MD; her brothers, Frank Higgins of Manchester, MD and Donald Higgins of Green Mountain, NC.; her former life partner Joseph Price of Manchester, MD.; and her siblings, R. C., Burnard, Paul, Larry Higgins, Ailene Robinson, Delores Wagner, Catherine Yingling and Hilda Robinson. She is also survived by grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, as well as many adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel (3296 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463).

In lieu of traditional remembrances, contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project would be greatly appreciated, honoring Millie's generous spirit.
