As we bid Aileen Wigington farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Aileen Wigington is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, William Wigington and Dallas Wigington; and her sons, Don Cox Jr., Tim Cox (Laura) and Matt Cox (Maureen). She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Remembrance Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609).
