She was predeceased by: her husband Heyward; and her parents, Rosa Gartner and Johann Gartner. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy and Alicia (Troy); her grandchildren, Ashley (Jenn), Aliyah, Alijah, Alyssa, Alana and Alora; her sister Marta; her sibling's children, Jurgen and Gaby; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy, Willie Mae and Roosevelt (Joyce).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
