She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Washington Smith and Lora Annie Smith (Watson). She is survived by: her brothers, Ariail Smith and Jack Smith; her husband Ralph Vaughn; her daughter Laura Ann; and her son-in-law Eric Schaefer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:25 PM at the Roper Mountain Baptist Church (300 Roper Mountain Rd, Greenville, SC 29615). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome charitable contributions to Roper Mountain Baptist Church or Connie Maxwell Children's Home.
