She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Moody and Nina Simpson Moody; her former husband Lake Marvin Cely; her husband Henry Belton Godfrey; her siblings, Doris Brookshire, Mary Leah Calmes, Kathleen Moody, Clifford Moody and Kenneth Moody; and her grandson Bryan Cely.

She is survived by: her sons, Lake Scott Cely (Lisa Uldrick) and Anthony Brook Cely (Alicia); her sister Carolyn Thompson; her grandchildren, Andrea, Michael and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Seth, Matt, Nate and Michael.
