He was predeceased by: his wife Jaqueline Seay; his parents, Wilson Seay and Irene Messer Seay; the mother of his children Joyce Seay; and his siblings, Franklin Seay, Eugene Seay and Sarah Phillips.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cristal Sims (Dan) and Starie Seay; his stepsons, John Stepp (Nestle) and Tim Stepp (Andrea); his sister Joyce Brown (Jimmy) of Aston, PA; and his close friend Judy Stepp. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
