He was predeceased by: his mother Pamela Grant Rhodes; and his grandparents, Cecil, Betty Grant, Clyde and Sara Rhodes.

He is survived by: his father Earl Rhodes (Celia); his brother Grant Rhodes (Trish); his nieces and nephews, Holden Rhodes, Wyatt Rhodes, Dalton Chandler, Brennan Natterstad (Andy) and Rylinn Rhodes; his stepsister Catie York; and his friend Lisa Caudill. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.

Memorials in Brandon's honor may be made to Meals-on-Wheels, 31 Chalmers Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

“I am so heartbroken. I was visiting our mutual friends in Greenville for the New Year's celebration and found out I would not be seeing him. I meant to reach out to him and see how he was! He has donated to my birthday causes and was very kind and supportive of me even though we didn't live in the same state and only knew each other as good acquaintances. I remember, during the pandemic, having a late night walk with him. In Overbrook park. I'll hold on to that memory.”
