With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Herbert Perry of Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert Perry and Mattie Bell Patrick Perry; and his siblings, Frances, Jimmy, Pat and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Mamie Gardner Perry; his children, Matthew Perry (Marie) of Scottsburg, IN and Karla Prather (Paul) of Sumter; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Perry (Carolyn) of Mauldin, Richard Perry (Teresa) of Pickens, Margaret Coleman of Travelers Rest, Sara Jo Hazel of Mauldin and Lynn Perry of Greenville; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Pekuri (Aaron) of Sumter, Chase Prather of Sumter and Amelia Perry of Scottsburg, IN; and his great grandchild Truett Pekuri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
