She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Dana Sullivan; her parents, Captain Richard Kenna Gaines and Maud Werner Gaines; her children, Louise Gentry and Hugh Donovan; her grandson Grant Harding; and her siblings, Richard Gaines and Maud Tarrant.

She is survived by: her children, Irene Harding (Tom), Peter Sullivan (Debbie) and Gaye Burch (Jonnie); and her sister Anna Lou Wren. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
