She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elbert and Essie Earle Findley; and her siblings, Earle Findley, Fred Findley, Harry Findley and Julia Findley.
She is survived by: her husband William Richard Merritt (Bill); her children, Lib Ann Harrison (Marvin) and Dickie Merritt (Susan); her grandchildren, Catherine Bladon Culler (Hamp), Richard Bladon and Findley Merritt Strange (Robert); her stepgrandchildren, Paige Cason Ogburn (Mike) and Thomas Cason; her caregiver Angel Heart; Hampton Culler, Mary Grace Culler, Elizabeth Culler and Bradford Merritt Strange.
