He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. David C. Francis Sr. and Frances Grant Francis; his son Derrick T. Hill (Natasha) of Greenville, SC; and his brothers, Thomas L. Francis of Union City, GA and Dr. W. Brenard Francis of Lawrenceville, GA.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springfield Baptist Church (600 E McBee Ave., Greenville, SC 29601). A burial will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (1655 Piedmont Hwy, Piedmont, SC 29673).
