He was predeceased by: his parents, Colyer Sisam and Virginia Sisam (Lee); and his brother Richard Sisam. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Kitt Sisam; his children, David (Julie), Dianne (Cary Miller), Rick (Dee Ann) and Randall (Jennette); his grandchildren, Marcie, Julie, Lindsie, Jenna, Paul and Aidan; his great grandchildren, Reyna, Kobe, Jada and Kamren; and his sister Nancy Ratcliff. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and friends.

Memorials may be given in his name to Grand View University Athletic Department.
