He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Mullikin and Nancy Harris Mullikin; and his siblings, Dennis Mullikin, Jr., Nancy Ann McCorkle and Marilyn Reed.
He is survived by: his spouse Jonnie D. Mullikin; his children, David Mullikin, Jr. (Laura), Ashley Hughey (Hunter), Jonathan Mullikin (Julie) and John David Mullikin; his siblings, Robert E. Mullikin (Sandra), William Mullikin, Linda Cousins (Tony) and Rita Carr (Tom); his grandchildren, Taylor Cheli, Mary Dyson Hughey Davis, Hayden Hughey, Ellison Hughey, Parks Mullikin, Maddie Mullikin and Hunter Russell; Danny Stansell. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
