He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chappell and Shirley Mae Cureton Chappell. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Chappell; his children, Cedric Hill, Lashunda Hill of Fountain Inn, Natasha Chappell and Erica Hill of Simpsonville; and his brothers, Ray Chappell and Michael Chappell of Greenville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
