She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Yates DeVenny and Mamie Miller DeVenny; her husband Donald H. Clanton; and her siblings, Harry DeVenny and Sarah DeVenny Livingston.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Larry Donald Clanton (Sylvia), Robert Clanton (JoAnn) and James Clanton (Cindy); and her siblings, Thomas DeVenny and Mary DeVenny Lee. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
