She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Aguirre and Anita Aguirre; her husband Joseph Ponce III; her pet Iris; her parents-in-law, Joseph J. Ponce Jr. and Petra Ponce Paredes; her stepfather-in-law Santos Paredes; and her brother-in-law Santos Paredes Jr..
She is survived by: her son Joseph Jesse Ponce IV (Jamie); her siblings, Bernice Castro (Alfredo) and Joe Raymond Aguirre (Carol); her sisters-in-law, Guadalupe Castaneda (Paul), Monica Lascon (Martin) and Cruz Paredes; and her sister Diane Euclide. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association and Alzheimer's Association.
