He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Snider and Lillie Alexander Snider; his wife Anna Spencer Snyder; his son Joel Snyder; his grandson James Snyder; and his brother Charles Snider.

He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Sizemore (Michael) and Randy Snyder (Joanne); his grandchildren, Randall Snyder (René), Matthew Sizemore (Tonya), Amanda Morgan, Lee Snyder (Kelly) and Bradley (Irina); and his pet Little Bit.
