With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ethel Azalee Peace of Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ethel Azalee Peace to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Doyle V. "Doc" Peace; her parents, Hampton H. Wade and Queen Bessie Hayes Wade; and her daughter-in-law Linda McKinney Peace (Doyle). She is survived by: her children, Doyle R. Peace, Sue P. Matthews (Dave), Patricia A. Reeves (Larry), Jerry W. Peace (Delores), Dennis L. "Dennie" Peace (Toni), Ronald E. Peace (Angela) and Alan Peace (Terry); and her sister Nannie Wade Alexander. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Northwest Chapel (6710 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary First Baptist Church, 11 Tampa Street Greenville SC 29609, or to your favorite charity.
