Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Rowles and Viola Bressler Rowles; and his daughter Angeleena Romeo. He is survived by: his caregiver Francias Rojas; his daughter Michele Grooms; his sisters, Laura Lender and Ada Haywood; his grandchildren, Jacob Morgan (Jessica) and Nicole Monsavior (Emmanuel Monsavior); and his great grandchildren, Jacob Morgan Jr. and Alden Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
