He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schultz Wineland and Norma Louise Haynes Wineland. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Wineland; his children, Brian Hall (Bess) of Abu Dahbi, UAE, Kevin Hall (Laura) of Charlotte, Jerry Lee Wineland (Shelli) of Rockford and Sheri Stauffer (Randy) of Greenville, SC.; and his grandchildren, Amber Lynn, Daisy, Brychan, Alex, Patrick, Owen, Brandon and Rhys. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Maranatha Fellowship Seventh-Day Adventist Church (106 Saluda Dam Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family asks that in leu of flowers, donations be made to the American Lung Association in his honor.
