It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Purdee Taylor of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom R. Purdee and Margaret G. Purdee; and her husband Steve H. Taylor. She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Graves, Judy Bechtler (Eddie) and Pat Green; her grandchildren, Ginger Goff (Gregg), Brian Graves (Patti), Doug Bechtler and Lisa Aker (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Heather Bechtler Puleo, Holly Bechtler, Gregory Goff, Sophie Aker, Taylor Graves, Scott Graves and Nick Graves; and her great great grandchildren, Betty Goff and Benson Goff.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Bethel Methodist Church, 1232 Curtis Street, Rock Hill, S.C. 29730, or to a charity of one's choice.
